The house enchanted me. Maybe it was the bookshelf full of learning in the living room, that light pouring in through every window, the open kitchen, the colors of the walls all subtle but fitting beautifully, and probably the garden with the varieties of green and shade that just begged me to sit and listen quietly. I`m getting a bit poetic here, I know, but it really is charming. It`s not perfect. While there are potentially five bedrooms in the house, there are two and a half (lets call it three) bathrooms and the master has no en-suite. The house from the street-side looks quite ordinary and while there is a garage for reserved parking on the plot, it isn`t big enough for a big 4x4. But it doesn`t change the fact that it is a special house full of charm and perfect for the right person. Layout as follows; ground floor holds the living room, dining area and open kitchen, as well as a toilet and the garage. There is a basement downstairs. Upstairs on the first floor are three bedrooms and one full bathroom. On the second floor are two large rooms and a bathroom. The Landlady has it set up as a study room and a guest bedroom. In Domenii, easy walking distance to a number of points of interest including; the Domenii Farmer`s Market, The best Thai restaurant in the city, the National Rugby Stadium (where you can also rent tennis courts), the Grivita Rugby Team grounds (an excellent rugby program for children), the second best Korean restaurant in Bucharest and, well lots of options on places to eat and shop. The house is also walking distance to the bus pick up for the Lycee Francais near the Arcul de Triumf (a 15 minute walk).
